I joined OverOps as the first internal HR/Recruiting resource in the US. I have support from an HR Operations Manager in our Israeli office and manage a small team of coordinators. I oversee the day-to-day recruiting and HR activities for the US and manage the overall people objectives for the global team. I built things from the ground up including implementing all tools and processes, establishing and maintaining employer branding initiatives, building out compensation planning and leveling and instituting our first performance management and manager training programs.

Lead Recruiter

I joined Dealpath as the first dedicated recruiting hire (and 20th overall hire). Here I worked to grow the entire organization, with a special focus on the business side - Sales, Marketing & Customer Success. I pivoted the recruiting strategy to relieve a dependency on outside recruiting agencies and instead incorporated a better distribution of inbound/outbound candidate outreach. I also spent time auditing and re-vamping interviewing and reporting processes to help streamline things and improve candidate experience.

Director of People + Talent

I joined Gild to lead recruiting and support the HR function, and quickly ended up in charge of both. In addition to helping to grow our various teams (Product, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success), I put recruiting best practices in place to better scale our processes and to continue building trust into recruiting. Other things that I worked on included employee onboarding, putting together salary bands and employee leveling tables, and developing and implementing the company's first ever 360° reviews. I also had the opportunity to work with our product team as the company's biggest power user of our own product and to give feedback to help improve our platform. I helped streamline a merit calibration and our review committee to ensure fairness in all parts of our employee lifecycle. On the other side of things, I also ran point on all terminations/RIFs and ensured that they happened in the best way possible.

Gild was acquired by Citadel LLC in October of 2016.

Sr. Lead, Recruiting Operations and Enablement

After a reorganization of the company, I moved into a new leadership role within the recruiting team. In this role my focus was on supporting the Recruiting and Client Services teams to achieve better results. I did this by owning systems and processes to ensure team effectiveness and efficiency and analyzing data to make decisions. I designed and developed the training and development programs for all recruiters and regularly gave advanced classes personally. I also managed a large transition from our proprietary system over to Greenhouse and updated all of our workflows for each department so we could use it within an agency setting. As a liaison between the clients and the recruiters, I frequently attended client on-boarding and req troubleshooting meetings to help advise and bring back knowledge that could help the teams internally.

I was promoted into a leadership role within the recruiting team. In addition to sourcing and screening candidates for client roles, I also ran our internal recruiting including headcount planning and budgeting, interview design, and on-boarding of new employees. I managed and developed the largest team of recruiters which consistently exceeded company targets, and spent much of my time training and mentoring newer recruiters.

Sourcing passive candidates using boolean searches in Google and LinkedIn as well as leveraging my personal network and attending networking events. Creating a delightful candidate experience from initial outreach, to introductory phone screen, to hire. Roles ranged from software to hardware to non-technical roles, and clients ranged from stealth-mode startups to large, publicly traded technology companies. I led the pack in total number of submittals and total number of hires for our clients and consistently exceeded recruiting targets.

My duties shifted to focus primarily on growing our team and supporting our current employees. I single-handedly owned all things HR and recruiting including: benefits, leadership training, 360° reviews, employee development programs, college recruiting, some sourcing and screening for technical and non-technical roles, negotiating offers, and on-boarding employees across the organization. We grew from <10 to around 100 while I was there.
